Analytics disclosure
Although I'm not required to disclose this, I utilize privacy-respecting analytics software on this website.
TL:DR; You can opt-out by enabling your browser's Do Not Track (DNT) setting.
To be fully transparent, I embed a Simple Analytics tracking script (and fallback pixel) on most pages. Furthermore, the aggregate data is publicly visible for all to see. If you'd like to read the full list of what is and isn't collected, please refer to the Simple Analytics documentation site. Essentially, neither your IP nor cookies are stored. Since it is fully GDPR compliant, there's no need for a cookie banner or anything alike!
Here's a list of scenarios where the tracking code is NOT rendered:
- You enabled the Do Not Track (DNT) setting in your browser.
- You are viewing a non-public permalink (note/article) on this site.
- You are viewing a hidden (doesn't appear on the listing) page.
